Chromebook Agreement and Insurance

Fayette County Public Schools implemented 1:1 Computing in 2018 in order to provide students with the necessary tools for academic success. Students in grades 2 to 12 are assigned a Chromebook that is utilized by them inside and outside the classroom. Students in grades Kindergarten and 1st grade are 1:Web and each has a Chromebook available to them while in the classroom.

All damaged Chromebooks will still need to be sent to Lexicon for attempted repair first. If Lexicon deems the device unrepairable and the student has purchased SmartTech insurance, the parent or the school can submit the claim on behalf of the student. https://www.smarttechinsurance.com/fayette-file-claim
